About Me

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog, for those of you who served with me in the Navy, this won’t be anything new, but if we have some looky-loos that are just reading about an old Navy broad, then keep on reading.

I went into the Navy shortly after 9-11 like so many other people around my age.  I didn’t have a whole lot going for me at home and it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.  While I had some really good times in the Navy, it just wasn’t for me, so I got out and got married and had a few kids.

I wish I could say that life was great, but we all know that is often a lie.  The good news is that I live in a great country with many freedoms and look fondly back on my time in the Navy.

Please contact me if you remember Lucy Collins, I was in Bootcamp from November-December of 2001, following that was a trip through A-School in Pensacola and then wound up in Virginia Beach (great beach by the way!) at VF-101.
